Settings and Billing
Project settings and the emergency stop, workspace settings, and how billing is handled.
Three settings screens sit in the sidebar: Project Settings and Notification Settings under Current Project, and General Settings and Billing under Workspace.
Project Settings
Two tabs: General and Danger Zone.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Project Name | Rename the project. Up to 64 characters. Admin only. |
| Environment Type | Development, Staging or Production — a label so you can tell one project's traffic from another's. |
| Demote all rules to Dry-run | The emergency stop. See below. |
| Delete this project | Only possible once the project has zero API keys. Confirm by typing the project name. |
The emergency stop
"Emergency stop: switch every active Block/Reroute rule in this project to Dry-run and clear anything they had blocked or rerouted. Rules keep their configuration — flip individual rules back to Enforce when you're ready."
This is the fastest way to stop TokenPolice affecting live traffic. It takes effect immediately and clears every currently blocked or rerouted entity. Nothing is deleted — you promote rules back one at a time. You confirm by typing the project name.
If you only need to stand one rule down, use Switch to Dry-run on that row instead; see Firewall & Budgets.
Deleting a project
Delete every API key first — the button reads "Active Keys Must Be Deleted First" until you do. Deleting hides all of that project's stats, rules and activity from your dashboard, and cannot be undone.
General Settings
Workspace-level, one panel:
| Field | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Organization Name | Read-only. |
| Organization ID | Read-only, with a copy button. |
| Workspace Timezone | Admin-editable. It sets the local time your workspace's scheduled emails are sent in. |
A link card leads to Email Notifications, your personal email preferences — see Notifications.
Deleting a workspace is not self-serve. The Danger Zone explains that deletions are handled
manually: email info@tokenpolice.ai to request one.
Billing
The Billing page points you at support rather than a checkout: subscriptions, payment methods and
billing history are handled by emailing info@tokenpolice.ai. There is no plan selector, invoice
list or usage meter on this screen.
Your plan does carry a couple of limits, and you only meet them as an inline message when you hit one — "Project limit reached for your plan." or "Firewall & loop rule limit reached for your plan (max N). Delete a rule or upgrade your plan." The three loop rules your workspace was provisioned with don't count toward the rule limit.
What to look for
- A rule you promoted isn't acting — check nobody hit the emergency stop; demoted rules keep their config and look normal apart from the mode badge.
- Delete Project is disabled — keys still exist on it.
- The timezone is wrong — scheduled workspace email goes out in it.
